In Praise and Care of Creation:
Youth Solutions to Climate Change

Join with other young people of faith from around West Virginia
May 15, 2022, 6-7pm to plan local creation care events.

Initial Gathering & Concluding Roundtable

A virtual youth gathering for West Virginia youth will be held May 15, 6-7pm. The gathering will allow participants to discuss climate justice, action and stewardship. This one-hour initial gathering is for anyone interested in the mini-grant climate program.

A concluding roundtable and video showcase will be held in early 2023. This concluding roundtable will feature the perspectives, insights and lessons learned from the youth groups participating in the mini-grant program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I register if I am not part of a youth group?
Yes, but the mini-grants are intended for youth groups affiliated with a faith community.

Do we have to attend the online event in order to apply for the mini-grant?
Yes, participating in the event is important. We want to hear from you about your hopes, dreams and fears about climate change. The gathering should help inform the action project that your groups wants to take on.

Do we need to do a video as part of our project?
A video or other type of presentation (e..g, audio, slide show) is needed. Anything that can help tell the story of your project.
