Interfaith Organizations and the Environment
Various interfaith organizations have been formed
across the country to awaken and engage religious
communities from across the spectrum of faiths.
They educate, advocate, and enable congregations
and individuals to live their religious commitments
to justice and the care of creation.
- Faith
In Place (Chicago area) creates hopeful
and welcoming spaces for people of all faiths
to reflect deeply on their own faiths, integrate
the teachings of these faiths into their economic
and ecological practices; and work together
for a shared future which is economically just
and ecologically sustainable.
- The Religion, Ecology
and Spirituality Group of the West Michigan
Environmental Action Council engages and unites

support for people of faith to integrate their
spiritual life with their ecological values.
- GreenFaith
