The Interfaith Partnership director explains
it as follows: "Sometimes when I describe
this Interfaith Partnership, I try to capture
it by pointing out that we are not scientists,
healthcare providers, or technical experts, and
we are not the people who write laws, but we are
intelligent people of faith who can read the reports
written with information from scientists and physicians
and who know we are called to care for the vulnerable.
With this information, we can take steps in our
own families, and we can communicate with policy
makers about steps we need to take as a society."
