Faith Organizations Urge Congress to Fund Environmental Programs in FY27

On Tuesday, June 30, 19 faith-based organizations and religious orders came together to urge Congress to consider the needs of God's creation and God's children when determining funding appropriations for the fiscal year 2027. 

"We implore you to remember that a budget is a moral document; it communicates clearly our values and our priorities. We ask all members of Congress to prioritize the well-being and dignity of American communities, and the responsible stewardship and protection of God’s sacred creation."
