Faith Communities to EPA: "Don't Abandon Us"

In April 2025, faith-based organizations and religious institutions representing millions of Americans from diverse traditions came together to denounce the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) stated intent to undo over two dozen critical, life-saving protections against pollution and severely reduce staffing. The mission of the EPA is "to protect human health and the environment" - these recent actions reflect an abandonment of the EPA mission and the American people that will harm both current and future generations.
