  • The Evangelical Environmental Network:
    • God's Earthkeepers: Biblical Action and Reflection on the Environment is a three-session adult bible study in the EEN's kit for chuches, Let the Earth Be Glad.
    • Seeds of Worship: Creating Opportunities to Worship God as Creator includes suggestions for church retreats, and a list of videos and curricula for children, youth and adults, also in the EEN kit and available separately.
    • Educational activities for all ages are provided in Caring for God's World, ed. Kristen Kemper, also in the EEN kit, Let the Earth Be Glad.
    • Adult Education Resources and Suggestions; Youth Resources and Projects; Children's Resource Suggestions; and Educational Exercises and Activities for All Ages are all available on the EEN's website.

  • The Web of Creation offers guidance and resources for parish education as part of its Green Congregation Program.
  • Adult Education Resources:
    • A study guide for the U.S. Catholic Bishop's Pastoral, "Renewing the Earth," has been developed by the National Catholic Rural Life Conference.
    • Earth-Wise: A Biblical Response to Environmental Issues, by Calvin B. DeWitt is a six-session adult bible study available from FaithAlive Christian Resources.
    • One God, One Family, One Earth: Responding to the Gifts of God's Creation, is a six-session curriculum developed by the Advocacy, Witness and Justice Ministries Unit of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society, the Episcopal Church Center.

 

  • Resources for Children and Youth:
    • The Earth is the Lord's: Caring for God's Creation, is a teacher's guide for a five session educational program for children and youth, published by the Orthodox Church in America.
  • Videos:
    • Keeping the Earth: Religious and Scientific Perspectives on the Environment. Inspirational video with prominent scientists and religious leaders calling on Americans to protect our environment and the diverse species that share it.
    • Between Heaven and Earth: The Plight of the Chesapeake Watermen. A long-standing conflict between environmentalists and the watermen of Chesapeake Bay is defused when a graduate student helps both to a new awareness of the biblical basis for creation care.
    • A World to Share: Religious Perspectives on Saving the Environment presents the voices of many religions that are now being raised about our natural world and our role in protecting it.
    • Visions of Eden: A Spiritual Perspectives on the Environment. Documentary on Judaism and ecology produced by the Jewish Theological Seminary, COEJL, and ABC Television that aired nationally on ABC-TV in January 1997.
    • The Greening of Faith: Why the Environment is a Christian Concern, Cathedral Films and Video. Theologians and environmentalists offer ecumenical perspectives on the religious dimensions of caring for the earth.
