Seeds of Worship: Creating Opportunities
to Worship God as Creator, with resources
for biblically-grounded sermons, worship services,
and special events such as retreats and outings,
including a poster for children to color and
a tape cassette with sounds from the rainforest
to use as background to music, skits, and prayers.
- Creation
Sunday materials on suggested themes such
as the oceans, transporation choices, Christ
and creation, and human health, are provided
each year on the EEN's website, along with other
worship materials and sermon outlines and illustrations.
- Your
Church Outdoors, a collection of ideas
for bringing congregation members into closer
contact with creation, includes suggestions
for outdoor worship.

Other Worship Resources
- Soil and Water Stewardship Week educational materials are produced yearly by the National Association of Conservations Districts, including litanies and church leader's guides.
- The Web of Creation is an online source with many resources for incorporating environmental themes and concerns into worship.
- Canfei Nesharim features from an Orthodox Jewish perspective commentaries on weekly Torah portions, and a variety of articles on what the Torah says about stewarding the earth.
- The Environmental Stewardship Commission of the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota (MEESC) maintains a collection of environmental and earth-centered reflections, sermons, and commentaries on lectionary readings.
- Earth Ministry features worship resources and a speaker/preacher/teacher network on their site, including a guidebook for bringing the care of creation into the life and mission of a congregation.
- Christian Ecology Link, a multi-denominational group in the United Kingdom, offers “Ecological Notes on the Common Worship Lectionary”.
- Season of Creation is an international effort to offer an alternative season in the church year, the Season of Creation, celebrated for a month during Pentecost. The materials include alternative lessons for the 3-year lectionary cycle, full liturgies, and suggestions for earth ministry.
